Grand Turk Kayaking

The wetlands of Grand Turk unfortunately don’t compare to those that can be found in the Caicos Islands. Kayak tours typically take place in the interior and sheltered South Creek.

Beaches of Grand Turk

Grand Turk is home to several incredible beaches on its western coast, crowned by the beautiful Governor’s Beach. The first sight greeting cruise ship guests is the excellent Cruise Center.

Grand Turk Snorkeling

Although Grand Turk has some of the best diving in the world, the excellent reefs tend to be a bit too far from the shore and just out of depth to really be great for snorkeling.

Grand Turk Kiteboarding

Although still a viable location, Grand Turk doesn’t quite compare to what the Caicos Islands offer. Due to the consistent east-southeast trade winds, the beautiful west coast beaches are not a safe option due to offshore wind.

Whale Watching

Although Grand Turk isn’t quite as great a spot for whale watching as Salt Cay is, sightings are regular in the winter months. Often a possibility on a whale watching cruise, a snorkeling encounter will be an unforgettable experience.

Grand Turk Lighthouse

The only lighthouse in the country, this beautiful (albeit not very large) structure is the main historical attraction on Grand Turk. Don’t miss out on the scenic coastal path that leads along the cliffs north of the lighthouse.
